`BE BACK IN A WEEK'S TIME! (:
woke up early in the morning to do CIP wif my class.. we had to go to the thong teck home for the aged at aljunied and brought them to sentosa underwater world as well as the dolphin lagoon..
the moment i reached the home and saw the old folks, my heart sank.. all the old folks looked weak and most of them were in wheel-chairs.. even those who can walk could only walk slowly and in difficulty.. when i saw how the nurses carried them up the bus, it made my heart felt worst.. becoz the nurses helped them up by pulling the back of their pants and i saw some of the old folks struggling up.. sigh.. damn pain la..
as we went to sentosa, we were assigned two students to an old folk in wheel-chair.. glad and i were assigned to this old man whom i find was easy to get along.. unlike some other old folks, he isnt impatient and was cooperative all the way.. took pics wif him too.. (:
we were damn unlucky when we arrived at underwater world only to know that the lifts had broken down.. which means by we had to transport these old folks together wif their wheel-chairs up the stairs one by one..
it was tough carrying them up but just see them smile when they were at the underwater world made me feel that all the hard work is worth it..
thru' all these, i learnt alot.. i learnt how to appreciate life.. coz life is fragile..
i've learnt that all these old folks want are just acceptance, they feel warmth just having someone by their side to listen to them.. yup.
and well, ppl..
i'll be leaving for NZ tml for a week until next sun.. thus, i'll wont be blogging and will be back in a week ya? i'll miss everyone! (: hee.
