Closing of the National Stadium.
after returning from chalet yesterday noon, i took about an hour plus nap before leaving to fetch poo together with my mum and bro to the National Stadium.
we went there to catch the 2 last soccer matches to be held at the stadium before it closes.
went there and met up with the rest of my extended family.
the first match was Singapore Veterans v.s Malaysia Veterens.
it was funny watching them play lah.
because most of them are no longer young and full of energy, the match was like slow motion.
haha. and the tripping and falling was cute lah.
for that match, it was a draw.
for that match, it was a draw.
after which, the next match was Singapore against Australia.
we lost 3-0, i think the Australia team was really good.they have the speed and all. it was fun watching the matches.
after both matches, it was the closing ceremony of the National Stadium.
was kind of sad watching the video of the past memories of the stadium.
saw fireworks display and went back home le.
i must say it was a tiring yet enjoyable day for me. (: a few more pics now..
