as much as i dreaded the arrival of my birthday this year, i knew that i still had to face it as it came. despite the recent setback in my life, im really thankful to those who made the effort to make me feel loved! (:
1) Meiyu, Charlotte, Linus, Mark and Alan
was supposed to meet meiyu and charlotte only but they gave me a surprise!
as i walked into nihon mura at cathay, i was really shocked to see the other three guys there.
meiyu lied to me that she had stomachache lah!
to think i was actually late and they waited for me for almost an hour? opps! i'm so sorry guys!
i had my favourite oreo cheesecake and they sang me birthday song before we left.
went to catch Shinjuku incident at plaza sing before i left for dinner with the family at whitedog cafe, vivovity.
2) Family
nothing beats being in the warmth of family.
i was overwhelmed with emotion at that time.
we had a nice dinner together with cousin's family as well.
although i was not exactly happy, i was touched and i felt loved!
3) Cheryl, Heyma, Jolene
after a tiring day at Pulua Ubin, made my way down to holland v together to meet the other two girls. had dinner at breeko and just had a good chat there.
i had yet another oreo cheesecake! (:
a simple but nice meetup. thanks girls!
4) Cindy, Jiawen, Alan
went for day tour in the afternoon together with jiawen and alan.
met up with cindy after that for dinner at cafe cartel, marina square.
i thought that it was just an ordinary meetup but the two stupid girls actually planned to give me a surprise!
just after we ate the main course, i was busy talking when i was given a real shock when all of them sang birthday song. it was really a surprise! thanks girls and alan!
5) Laopenygyous
met up with the laopengyous at vivocity after cls fo outing at sentosa. got really damn burnt that day that the laopengyous just cant help but comment on the "tanned-ness"! had dinner at bosses (yes, i know what you guys are gonna say!)
i actually told them black society coz i direct translated it and made huyu and melvin searched the whole directory for it! HAHA.
went starbucks after that for our usual long chats.they gave me my present (a dress) and made me change into it.
i went to change and when i got back, they sang birthday song loudly and my birthday cake was a brownie with an imaginary candle. it was so amusing!
really enjoyed myself and i love the dress and the card. a big thanks to the laopengyous!
honestly, this year's birthday felt really weird.
being single for the 3rd month on the exact day of your birthday really felt quite shitty.
but despite these, i really wanna thank those who were with me.
i know that you guys really tried your best to make me feel loved and i really appreciate it alot.
so THANKS all for the celebrations and surprises!!
