celebrated meiyu's birthday on monday.
met ed, mark and char to collect our graduation robes at noon.
we took a bus and walked under the hot sun to the studio.

after collection, we took a bus to toa payoh and from there we took a bus down to vivo (as recommended by ed).
haha. and it was sure a long journey there.
we went past raffles city, city hall, bugis, clark quay and all the in betweens before finally reaching vivo. i felt as if i travelled half of singapore lah! haha.

we were super hungry by then and decided to eat our lunch at mussel guys.
hungry hungry eat eat and we sat there awhile to think of what to get for meiyu.
knowing that she just had her ear holes pierced, we decided to buy her earrings but since meiyu is so rubbish, we decided to get her a cute rubbish bin.
haha. bought 2 earrings and a necklance from diva and dumped it into the rubbish bin.
wrote little notes for her and dumped it in too.
alot of internal joke about that but it was fun.

ordered her cake and we designed our own layout.
and because of her cake that looked like a brownie, we were tempted to eat desserts and went to ben and jerry's to satisfy our cravings!
ate banana split that the 4 of us happily indulged in.
after that, headed down to white dog cafe where cindy and linus met us and finally the birthday girl came.
ate, laughed, talked and gave her a surprise with the cake coming to her and birthday song sang.
gave her the presents and watched as she took out the rubbish from the rubbish bin. HAHA.
walked around vivo a little after that before we left.

anyway, really enjoyed myself that day.
but when we bid goodbye, my heart sank as always after meeting up again.
i wonder how you felt.
maybe it's only me again.

i just want to get over soon and i know i will.
but it's a matter of how long.
